Policy Innovations for Map Ta Phut, Thailand – The Way Forward

Synopsis:

The MPA students will be presenting innovative policy recommendations surrounding the issue of Eco-Industrial Governance. Topics include the concept of eco-industrial towns, pitfalls of health and environmental impact assessments, disaster and crisis management strategies, and environmental tax for local governments. The presentations will be TED-Talk style, short and sharp!

Key actors from Thailand such as Greenpeace, the Industrial Estate Authority, Map Ta Phut Municipality, PTT, and representatives from the community will be joining the conference. Thus we expect a very lively conference that will make real-time impact in the region.
