The crisis of the euro and the financial difficulties of some Southern European countries are on the first pages of the financial press everyday. European policy makers and the Italian government in particular are going through a process of structural and political reforms that should increase the potential growth of the euro area. All around the world institutional investors and financial operators are eager to better understand the efforts made by European governments and how European countries are going to reconcile growth with fiscal consolidation.
