The Eurozone crisis is featured all over the media and is of great concern to governments, businesses and people worldwide. but what if it was just the tip of the iceberg? The "European model" concocted after WWII to entangle the economic and political destinies of its member countries failed to adapt to a changing world. The welfare state evolve into the unsustainable "Civilization of Entitlements". A common currency was launched for political reasons with the knowledge that it didn't make economic sense. All the while, Europe chose to become geopolitically irrelevant. Greece, representing only 2.3% of Eurozone GDP, now threatens the entire European edifice. Germany's recent success hides structural weakness which threaten future Eurozone bailouts. Do countries such as Spain, Italy or even France stand a chance? Will the European Central Bank continue acting as a fire fighter? Is there a Euro in Europe's future? Will the future of Europe be on of fragmentation, impoverishment and instability, and what would it mean to the rest of the world?
