Mr. Blake Harley Berger is a Research Associate at the Centre on Asia and Globalisation. His research interests include The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), regional integration, international relations theory, political economy, United States foreign policy towards East and Southeast Asia, and international trade policy. In addition to research, Mr. Berger’s duties include managing the centre’s website and editorial assistance. Blake is the co-editor of a forthcoming edited volume with Professor Huang Jing, titled “States, Institutions, and International Law in The South China Sea Dispute” which is expected to be published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2017. Blake has an MA in Comparative Politics with a focus on Southeast Asia from American University’s School of International Service (2013), and his Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston (2009). Prior to joining CAG, Blake was a Research Associate at the A sia Competitiveness Institute and a Researcher at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Washington DC.
