    IPS is looking to hire a Research Assistant (Special Projects) to support the S R Nathan Fellow for the Study of Singapore, and the IPS Communications department. The candidate’s main tasks include providing research and administrative support to the Fellowship as well as to public communications. The candidate should be intellectually curious, proficient in writing concise and compelling copy, and able to manage editorial projects and meet deadlines. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in English Language. Journalistic experience will be an advantage.

    IPS is looking to hire an Executive on a two-year contract for its Events and Administration team. The main responsibilities of the Executive are to manage and coordinate events, where the Institute communicates its research findings to the broader public. The candidate should have at least a Bachelor's degree, with a strong command of written and spoken English, be methodical, organised and a good team player. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in events management may also apply.

    IPS is looking to hire a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Donor Relations, on a two-year contract. This role will support the IPS Development Team in its efforts to cultivate and steward philanthropic support for the Institute. The responsibilities include supporting donor acquisition and retention efforts, managing activities and identifying opportunities in order to enhance the engagement and acknowledgement of donors. Applicants should possess a Degree with at least three years of relevant experience in fundraising, membership and events management.

    IPS is looking to hire, on a temporary one-month contract, an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance department on its daily operations. The Accounts Assistant’s main tasks include creating new customer codes and preparing Accounts Receivables invoices to stakeholders, as well as verifying payments in a timely manner. The candidate should be outgoing, methodical, organised and a good team player. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is necessary.

    IPS would like to appoint a senior researcher to its Politics and Governance cluster. The new member of staff will be expected to conceptualise, plan and conduct research projects with the objective of improving the design of public policy and its outcomes by harnessing behavioural insights. Depending on his or her work record and level of proven expertise as well as qualifications, the selected candidate could be offered the post of research associate, research fellow or senior research fellow.

    IPS is seeking to hire an Interviewer on a part-time or full-time basis. The Interviewer will be responsible for conducting face-to-face interviews and surveys in a door-to-door setting, for fieldwork projects by IPS. The candidate should be tactful and able to exercise good judgement in engaging potential interviewees, as well as open to learning and using new technology. Training will be provided. This position is available for both full-time and part-time employment.

  10. IPS Internship Programme

    IPS offers paid internships in its different research clusters. Interns will need to assist IPS researchers with data collection, note-taking and administrative tasks. They can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the issues that impact policymaking and benefit from activities that can help to build their knowledge and skill sets. NOTICE: Applications for our Summer Internship (May - August) are now closed. Applications for our End-of-Year (September-January) Internship will be open in June 2018.
