Executive (Digital and Media) (Two-Year Contract)

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is a policy research think-tank in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.

IPS is looking to hire, an Executive that will be responsible to provide support for the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) Public Communications Team to ensure the smooth running of the multi-media work, Information Technology (IT) and the admin needs of IPS.

The job scope includes:

  • Assist IPS Public Communications Team in managing and updating the IPS as well as IPS Commons website, which includes back-ups and maintenance of the information
  • Support the production of IPS multi-media products, publications, and collaterals
  • Support the maintenance and running of IPS social media accounts as well as the events
  • Provide good videography and photography coverage for IPS events as well as publicity campaigns. This would include editing work for the photo, video and sound recording.
  • Identify, develop and test new channels of public communications
  • Track and analyse results to identify opportunities and enhance performance, which includes the maintenance and retrieval of google analytic accounts for IPS as well as IPS Commons websites
  • Provide IT Helpdesk assistance to IPS staff for level 1 issues
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned 

Applicants must:

  • Possess a Degree preferably majoring Mass Communication, New Media or Information Technology
  • Possess at least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Possess knowledge in Google Analytics and other web management tools
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An independent worker who is meticulous and takes the initiative to learn new skills
  • A good team player who is self-motivated and well-organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
