Temasek Foundation: Asia Journalism Forum: "Reporting Facts and the Future of Journalism"

Synopsis

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is Temasek Foundation International’s new partner for the Asia Journalism Fellowship (AJF), a highly prized mid-career programme for outstanding media professionals. The AJF brings journalists from across Asia to Singapore for three months of learning and exchange. This year, the programme will run from 24 July to 13 October 2017.

As part of the Fellowship, we will be organising the AJF Forum from 17 August–18 August 2017. The forum, funded by Temasek Foundation Connects, is based on the theme “Reporting Facts and the Future of Journalism”.

The forum will see the participation of about 100 participants and it aims to facilitate knowledge-sharing and bridge-building among participants from the region; create networks among policymakers, media, practitioners, public thought leaders and academia; and deepen participants’ knowledge of Singapore and one another’s countries.
