World Bank Water Team Visits IWP

Headed by Sudipto Sarkar, Practice Manager for East Asia and Pacific Region, the World Bank Water Team in Singapore visited the Institute of Water Policy (IWP) in October 2017 to discuss areas of collaborations and common interests.

The World Bank Group and the National University of Singapore (NUS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2016. With IWP and the Temasek Foundation Water Leadership Programme, World Bank Group experts will work on strengthening the capacity of governments in Asia in undertaking climate proofing, integrated water management in cities, and water security.

The IWP team was represented by Co-director Eduardo Araral and senior research fellows Olivia Jensen and Joost Buurman. IWP was presented as a world-class water policy research institute focusing on water security in Asia.
